Purpose of Post:
You will support the Activities & Communities team in meeting the needs of our students through varied extra-curricular programme of groups, activities and events. This is a vital service supporting all UEA students to lead their own student groups, including sports clubs, societies, peer support groups and the media collective.
You will be the first point of contact for many students who reach out to the Activities & Communities team, corresponding by email, developing and delivering student guides, and supporting them through processes to run their own student events.
You will support both the Activities & Communities team and Welcome Desk staff in managing queries about clubs and societies and assist with the delivery of student-facing events and campaigns aimed at improving the UEA student experience.
This role will be for on average 6-12 hours per week. The majority of these hours will be during standard SU office opening times, between Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with some hours falling in evenings or weekends on occasion.
