What is the Students of Colour Ambassador Scheme?
The scheme is in a phased roll out across the university and is not yet available in all schools. To be eligible to apply for the role, you must be a registered undergraduate student in one of the schools listed below, and you must be continuing your studies into 2027
- School of Chemistry, Pharmacy, and Pharmacology
- School of Engineering, Maths, and Physics
- School of Politics, Philosophy, and Area Studies
- School of Global Development
- School of Health Sciences
- School of Law
- School of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing
- School of Media, Language, and Communication
- School of Economics
These positions are paid (£12.21 PH - Over 21/£10.42 PH - Under 21 per hour with potential variations) and contracted up to a maximum of 6 hours a week, term time only.
It’s the eighth year of the Ambassadors scheme and the approach in each school will be slightly different, so you’ll have a chance to shape the projects you’re working on.
